I own a Panasonic HDTV 3-D Plasma TV 5 years old. Lately the TV would abruptly shut off by itself for no reason. Sometimes “an error has been detected and recovered” would appear on the screen after which tv would turn itself off and on and stay on until it happens again. Panasonic technicians tell me that it could be “signal” issue. The last month I have changed 2 boxes but it has not solved the problem. Please help. Thank You.

Just started today weather and Fox and couple other channels being scrambled where all other remaining channels are fine. Spectrum told its not their problem and wants service guy to come out to house, also always trying to sell me a cable box to get out of ny old contract with Brighthouse.

Since time warner changed to spectrum in the Ithaca NY area there have been no end of tv problems: the navigation guide is consistently unvailable, the scroll bar on the bottom appears at odd moments, channels appear and disappear. They promised so many improvements and it has been unrelenting disaster

one problem i have noticed is that when i watch people’s court and big bang theory on fox, spectrum commercials interrupt the end of the show. i will have to check other shows/channels. but i know for a fact that each airing of those programs this week, the problem has occurred.

DVR says recording but when you try to play it, NOTHING is there even though the little red light is on. Phone doesn’t work half the time-people try to call and they say they don’t hear any ringing. When you check the call log on tv, it’ll show all the calls you never received. 15 years with TWC, NEVER had an issue like this- NO solution-paying all this money for totally inferior products. SMH

It has now been +8 weeks since I turned in the tv modem with the intention of streaming my way to the expensive 10 selected Spectrum channels I subscribe to. + 8 weeks, I have called, reps always polite but never has the problem been solved. I use Roku regularly with no issues with any, there are several streaming applications. The Spectrum application gets started, finally after several weeks shows the listed channels I’m paying for BUT will not connect and locks up. Recently the list of channels has been expanded to all those available (I think) yet still can not connect. I am about to cancel the whole shoot match.

Cable went out yesterday for me and a few others nearby. Spectrum has no clue and says they can come by 10/4/17. It came back sort of but now my remotes channel up down button doesn’t work. My tv is a fat one with both analog and digital and I just have basic cable. I better not need a box at additional cost or it is goodbye.

Have made multiple calls to spectrum this evening and go through the whole selection only to be transferred to technical support and get a fast busy signal. Channels 2,4,7 and others say “not authorized” “KCBSD”. This after my calling twice last week about my bundle package glinting from 141.00 to 161.00 per month. I have Internet, cable and landline with Spectrum. An older Time Warner Cable plan with slower Internet. I can’t get price down and I am told if I switch over to Spectrum with faster Internet speed I’ll be paying 170.00+/mo. This is a ripoff!

I am having a problem with my cell phones and everything else in my house that needs to be connected to the internet. It seems as though each set-top-box sends out a signal with a bogus network ID like “Bedroom”, “Livingroom” etc… when for some reason I leave my house and return my cell phone sometimes (not always) connects to one of those bogus IDs and I dont have access to the internet but it appears when I look at the phone that I am connected, but I am only connected to that bogus network which is not connected to the internet. As you know when you are not connected to the internet and you are streaming a movie or something it uses up you allowed data limit and then costs you a fortune. Has anyone else had this problem and have they got it fixed ? and how if they did. I am at bmcnair@yahoo.com if anyone knows how to fix this problem..

I live I Port Saint John, FL. My cable went out right as the storm hit. Me and my neighbors lost cable service, which lncludes TV, Internet and phone and the next day it was completely restored. I should of known it was too good to be true. Me and my neighbor lost it again on Friday as soon as we got power. My boxes and modem were on generator power. My neighbor one door west has full spectrum services. My neighbor one door west of me don’t have service and they just raised my bill by .00 per month to 2.00 per month. They said they could not send anybody out for me and my neighbor. You have seen electric trucks everywhere have you seen a spectrum truck, not in my middle class neighborhood.
