PICTURE ALWAYS GOES OUT, TIME WARNER CLAIMS IT REPAIRS BUT NO SHOW, TIRED OF THE NOSENSES, GET RID OF THE POLITICIANS THAT GET THEIR MONEY INTO POLITICOS POCKETS.

TIME WARNER ALWAYS CLAIMS THEY ARE WORKING ON A CHANNEL THIS MUST BE AN EVERYDAY THING, NEED TO GET RID OF TIME WARNER. THIS SOUNDS MORE LIKE A RELIEF BOARD WHERE NO ONE AT TIME WARNER READS BUT THEY WILL SEE.

Recently signed up with TWC. I have a DVR, and a regular box in the bedroom. So far the picture in the bedroom is choppy, and the sound is distorted. About 50% of the channels I select are unavailable at this time, another 25% are not in my plan. Free on demand movies won’t load. Never had these issues with Dish. With dish I had separate guides to see my channels or all channels if I wanted. Disappointed so far

I have been with Time Warner for 13+ years. I have 3 DVR boxes and Wideband internet. First off the internet they provide is of very low quality. I am supposed to be @ 30 mbps down and 5 mbps up. The DVR boxes go out every 3 to 4 months. The internet works as long as you constantly contact them, have a operator send a signal to the Terrible Arris Cable/Phone modem they have me using. I have a Samsung HD DVR box from them it is one of the 3 DVR boxes we have, it rarely records the right shows and always records the wrong shows. I half to restart my DVR box every day, and restart the Arris cable/phone modem everyday. I am never at the speeds they claim I have, and all I do is lagg on Mutliplayer gaming, either pc, ps3, xbox 360. In my opinion they are ripping people off and have been for a very long time and need and deserve to be sued. I know for a fact all the lines in me area (44255) are over 10 to 15 years old, the Mainline is full of water, my lines to my house are full of water, and this is the cause to all the problems. If you call and tell a tech anything I have said in this post they will talk and treat you like your an idiot. I do have a college degree in Health Information Technology, but I have no idea what I am talking about. “Stay Away from this ISP”

I have TW Cable TV, Internet and Phone Service. I have a DVR box and it cuts off recording on most shows prior to the end of the show. When going from the recorded show list back to an HD channel, it takes a few seconds to get the picture and sound. Sometimes it never does so I have to manually go to another channel and then back to the one it was originally on. I have probably had 6 replacement DVR’s in the last year and 4 or 5 remotes. Also the sound goes out every so often and that is being “looked at” as it is a known problem with the new DVR boxes.

The phone service was good in the beginning and now, I think it has been since the “upgrade”, I can be talking to someone and the line drops. It has happened 6 times in the past 4 days that I know of. It usually reboots itself so don’t always know that this has happened. Have been talking to people twice that I had been on hold for for 20 – 40 minutes and line drops. They were scheduled to come out yesterday and I waited and finally called and was told my appt was cancelled and I was scheduled for today between 10-11. I did not cancel nor reschedule particularly since I was not going to be home at those times. I am quite annoyed and sure wish there wan another option. I am seriously thinking of going back to AT & T phone line.

i’m paying almost $200 per month and so many of the channels i get are spanish or sports. i swear, there are more sports and spanish channels than there are regular t.v. channels. and timewarner is constantly removing channels and/or making them pay channels. their customer service is the worst and their remotes for the dvr boxes are USELESS.

JCsanman ERIE PA

Why the fuck was there a “complete outage” of TWC service (tv, internet, phone ) in Erie, PA on Labor Day, 9/7/2015, for almost 3 hours from around 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm EST??? I spent most of the afternoon watching the PGA tournament, with a houseful of guests, and during the the last 2 finishing holes, just as Rickie Fowler took the lead, the frigin’ TWC cable service went out COMPLETELY!!! HOW FRUSTRATING IS THAT!!! All you get is an automated message that states there is a “known outage” in your area which will be restored @ 7:27 pm… which was total bullshit!! NO OTHER EXPLANATION WHATSOEVER! Now… you have to contact customer service (if you can reach them) for an explanation and a CREDIT, which will be miniscule in comparison to your frustration and time spent for this inconvenience!! I understand that no one is responsible for an “act of God” but the weather was SUNNY and in the upper 80’s! I can almost guarantee this was a planned outage designed by “an act of CORPORATE ASSHOLES” with NO regard for the “average customer” which pays for their SALARIES! Well… we’ll see!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been sceptical of sites such as this, but after my expierence today, I can see most of these comments to be true and not embelished. I was lured into staying with Time Warner Cable (after 17 years) with the free 3 month premium offer. Well I found out the sales rep forgot to post it to the account. I was told the promotion just happened to end today, and I was out of luck. That nothing could be done about it. It may not seem right complaining about a freebie, but it was their mistake after all. But more surprising was the non-chalant attitude of both customer service and the supervisor. There was little or no concern of losing a loyal, auto debit customer of 17 years. It was “Ok anything else I can help you with? No? have a nice day” Proved to me that I was inconsequential and nothing more than a number. No loyalty. DirectTV here we come.

time warner austin has the sorriest customer service of all time. they have a semi-monopoly which lets them get away with it. if another cable/internet option with similar products ever comes on the scene they will have to improve or die. i hope they die!
