I just changed to TW because of limited cable in my area. The service is terrible. It was hooked up and the technician left me with nothing to configure my internet. The TV is like going back twenty years with off and on connectivity.
12 hour+ complete outage (phone, internet, TV) in Austin TX – at least, the far Northern suburbs. Automated phone message when calling the local office says they know about the outage, but the customer service reps “have no additional information”. I connected with the customer service reps anyway to see if there was new info, and the girl on the line said “I don’t see any issues in your area” – I had to insist that she was wrong, asked her to see if she could reach my modem or converters from her end… she sighed audibly as if this was an inconvenience, told me to hold on for a minute, and put me on hold for 7 minutes… when she came back, she rudely said, “well, it looks like something just happened and they’re working on it.” (I don’t know how 12 hours can be “just happened”, but to each their own, I suppose.) I asked what the cause of the problem was and how widespread it is, if it’s just my block, my neighborhood, my town, or where the problem ended so I could determine if it’s going to be fixed immediately or if they’re going to take their sweet time, but she wouldn’t comment on it, just kept saying, “they’re working on it, sir, that’s all I know.” I think their “Customer Service Department” should be renamed to just “Customer Department”, since I never get any actual service out of them. :”,Ben,,,,Hutto,TX,,,

Ever since they did their software update the quality of reception has degraded. High definition channels go blank for no reason. The guide refuses to move. The guide is very slow. Spiratic tiling occurs. Wait time on the phone is a minimum of 15 minutes. I can’t get an answer of when the software will be fixed. If there was competition they probably would no longer be in business. They need to remember who the customer is.
