We have experienced the worst cable service ever! After exchanging the DVR Time Warner box to find it wouldn’t work, I took the box back to the store and refused to leave until they tested the box first. We went through 4 other boxes = a total of 5 exchanged boxes in one day! The Time Warner store clerk was even embarrassed. The box that finally worked, has been good for a few months but now will just “blink” out in the middle of the program ever few minutes. Also, if we play a recorded show and try to fast forward, the program will continue to jump forward until the show is over and we cannot stop it from jumping. You’d think the button is stuck on fast forward, but it is not. I think all this boils down to crappy equipment that Time Warner continues to refurbish. You cannot get any new equipment from Time Warner and they don’t care that you continually have problems. No one will do anything to fix the situation. Pray for Google to make it to you soon!

We signed up for a bundle of TV & internet services advertised on the internet. What we got was NOT what we were expecting per the ad (way fewer channels). When we called TWC to inquire, the internet ad magically disappeared and they refused to honor the ‘special’, so we cancelled all services immediately that same day. Since then our credit card was charged AND we were sent to a collection agency BEFORE the bill for the next month even arrived, all for services we had cancelled!

I have ordered TWC cable and internet, expecting installation to be performed on 6/20. That appointment was somehow cancelled. Rescheduled for 6/22, which I discovered tonight, was again cancelled. I left FiOS because of incompetence. I expect my service to be installed when promised.

My girlfriend and I were just charged a late fee even though we are on autopay! In the process of getting it rescinded, the rep stopped in the middle, and said “oh…wait a minute…you owe a transfer fee.” “A transfer fee?” “Yes, You transferred from one account to another and there is an unpaid fee for that.”

Well of course, why wouldn’t there be a fee for that? And in true Time Warner fashion, they will bring a new fee into the picture as you’re trying to contest another.

What’s so distressing about the whole deal is that there is no alternative to their sucky, greedy operation.

Roku app is awful here in NYC. Often goes out even as the internet connection is working fine. Plus when you call, they’re even more clueless than usual. I’m just waiting for RCN to get a Roku app. Then it’s goodbye TWC.

The internet does go out frequently too. Yesterday, from around 9 am to late afternoon. Ridiculous.

Loyal Customer, not 4 long… Austin Tx

Ive been with TW for 7 yrs now, I’m a homeowner in S Austin and ever since they went “digital” we’ve had nothing but issue after issue. TW has provided us with one “super nice” tech after another, none of which should have the responsiblity they carry which isn’t much to begin with. Long and Short of it is they have yet to correct the problem and the entire 5 yrs of BAD service is getting really old when my average bill is $300/mo give or take….I’ve got them coming out tomorrow to fix the “new issue” since the guy this past Friday apparently didn’t know what the hell he was doing either. If this area supervisor does not meet the simple challenge of providing me at least a DECENT service that I already pay FAR too much for tomorrow…..I PROMISE to file a complaint, in person where I will request some form of credit for all the BAD service I’ve been paying for. If my request isn’t taken serious I WILL be forced to air a segment on the evening news here in AUSTIN which will completely expose just how “friendly & caring” TW is to it’s LOYAL and VALUED customers……..EVERY SINGLE TIME I SIT DOWN TO WATCH HD PROGRAMMING I CAN’T CAUSE IT LOSES A SIGNAL AFTER 15 MIN OR SO…..EVERY FU*$IN TIME !!!!!!

This past two weeks in the Raleigh area, our 50mb connection has been horrible! According to the Time Warner website speed test I am pulling down 30mb. But I can’t stream low quality video from youtube. Or stay connected to simple online games…
